For this Portfolio I wanted to do something artsy but use some of the things I've learned in previous chapters. I thought it would be cool to have something that we do all the time on earth, such as look at the moon from outside. I thought it would be cool to do the same from the opposite perspective.

For the lighting of the scene, I wanted the highlights to pop because that's what happens in space. There is no diffused light if the sun is facing you. Ignore how she is without a spacesuit or not being fried to death, this is supposed to be kind of an artsy piece.

As for the perspective of the photo,  I set the girl sitting on the swing from beyond as if she was looking at the earth. The earth was made bright but not fully lit up due to the lighting of the sun. The girl facing the earth gives the photo a more personal connection than if she weren't looking at the earth.

I chose to swing because it's an act most of us did when we were younger, and for me, I dreamt of all kinds of things, including what it would be like on the moon.
